Our Founder

Joseph Zaarour

Joseph Zaarour is the Founder and CEO of iSolvRisk. He created the company in 2021 with a belief that risk education could be more engaging, more accessible, and far more human. His work has since taken iSolvRisk to industry stages, earned national recognition, and helped reframe how leaders think about the insurance talent pipeline and beyond. Joseph brings energy and optimism to everything he does, and iSolvRisk reflects that spirit as it opens doors for the next generation of risk professionals.

Our Beginnings

iSolvRisk began with simple thoughts scribbled in a notebook during the height of the pandemic: What if learning risk management felt like an experience instead of a lecture? What if students could show their talent before anyone asked for a résumé? From that idea came a platform built to unlock potential, reshape perception, and open a new era of opportunity for students, educators, and employers.

Robert Cartwright Jr.

VP- Business Development

Robert Cartwright Jr is a recognized leader in risk management with extensive experience directing Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability operations for Bridgestone’s Northeast Division, overseeing more than 470 locations across 17 states. He has been an active contributor to RIMS for more than 20 years at both the chapter and global levels, ultimately serving as President and Chairman of the Global Board of Directors in 2018. Robert also chaired the RIMS Political Action Committee, guiding it to record participation. He brings deep operational insight, governance experience and industry leadership to the iSolvRisk board.
